How to Wash and Clean Silk

The silk is beautiful and very delicate, so the fabric need a special treatment. Now we will see, how to clean items, made from silk. 

1. If your silk item have a care tag, read them carefuly. Do not wash it at home, if it says "dry clean only". 
   
2. Wash your beautiful silk by hand (Recomended). DO NOT USE bleaching or agressive products. You beter use products without enzimes.
3. The water must be cool or warm - arround 30°C/86°F.
4. Add a few drops of the mild detergent, made for delicates or silk.
5. Gently submerge the silk item for 3-5 minutes.
6. Rinse the silk item under cold water, untill the detergent is fully washed out. 
   
7. Lay the silk on a clean, flat towel and gently roll the item in the towel.
8. Hang the silk on a hanger or drying rack, keeping it away from direct sunlight and heat which can cause of damage or fading.
   
9. If you done all rules for silk cleaning, you can enjoy your beautiful and clean silk item for a long time. 🌹
